Values can and should be a ‘golden thread’ running throughout your whole recruitment process and be embedded at every stage. Ways that you might do this include:
Consider right at the beginning of the recruitment process how the values apply to this role. This is a really important step if the organisational values are to become more than just a set of words on a page. For example, if you have an organisational value of ‘Honesty’, what does this mean in the role you are recruiting to? What would you expect from this role in terms of honesty? Is it about being open and transparent in their communication with colleagues or clients?
